Median price is UP as compared to last year by 5.5% with a median price of $375,200.  This follows a month of lowered median price which was at $350,500, so the roller coaster of home prices continues. Active listings are DOWN 10% again this month to only 206 homes on the market this month. Closed sales are up 13.5% to 84 this month. Months of inventory is down to 1.9 months as compared to 2.1 months last year. Days on market is down 4 days from last year to 38 days to go under contract

What Does this Data Mean?

Flower Mound has been seeing a roller coaster of home prices for the past several months and it continues. The average sale price is up this month to $375,200 which is significantly higher than the median price in the DFW Metroplex of $242,100. There are fewer houses on the market than there was last year and the houses that are for sale are selling faster than they did last year.
